With all the hoopla around the new year and with the all this snow we received, I’ve found myself reflecting on how easily life can sweep us into a pace we never intended. Too fast, too full, too demanding, until we look up and feel stretched thin or feel emotionally drained. Before we realize it, we’re trying to keep up, instead of moving with intention.

For many, this past season may have held moments of joy, but for others, it could also have includes moments of loss, disappointment, or even quiet grief. I’ve been reminded lately in my own life that grief has its own timeline. It doesn’t follow calendars or adjust itself to what we think we should be feeling by now. If you’re carrying grief into this season, and into this year, I want you to know this: there is room for that here. You matter. Your grief matters. And having your own timeline is important.

So wherever you find yourself right now, I want to invite you into something gentler, steadier, and more compassionate: moving with intention.

Not rushing.
Not performing.
Not pretending everything feels light when it doesn’t, but choosing each step with purpose, presence, and care, especially on the days when grief or weariness makes everything feel heavier.

My hope is that this newsletter offers encouragement for whatever season you’re walking through and reminds you that your wellbeing matters. Where you are in your journey matters. And you are not alone in this. We’re here to walk alongside you, whether this season comes with energy, with grief, or with something in between.

Reach out when you’re ready. We promise you’ll be glad you did.
