We’re excited about our permanent counseling center location at 10080 East U.S. 36 in Avon (across the road from LongHorn Steakhouse and IHOP). Unfortunately, it’s going to take a few months to get that space ready to serve clients. That’s why we’ve opened a temporary office a couple miles to the west at 6319 East U.S. 36. It’s just east of County Road 625 East (the one that goes under Avon’s famous bridge). You’ll find us in the tan brick, two-story building at the southwest corner of the intersection.
Meanwhile, we’re learning a lot about what’s involved in constructing offices (especially the permit process). It’s an interesting journey that seems to be God’s way of reminding us that patience is a virtue.
Our permanent location will be a comfortable, friendly counseling center with soundproof walls, gentle lighting to create the right atmosphere, and warm décor with natural textures and beautiful artwork. We’ll have three counseling rooms, a special room for group sessions with children, a parent support room, and a hospitality station where you’ll be able to get snacks and beverages.
As the process continues, we plan to share regular updates and photos. We’ll also let everyone know when we’re finally ready to move in!
