Jennifer has a particular gift for serving as an advocate and educator to families who are pursing international adoption. She supports them by providing intensive wraparound services, including medical management for special care needs, family counseling, educational advocacy, behavior consulting, and preparation and education. Jennifer finds great joy in helping children find and transition into their forever families.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington and a Master of Social Work degree from IUPUI. Before joining Care to Change, Jennifer worked with children and families through Riley Children’s Hospital, where she was part of a developmental team supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and other pervasive developmental disorders; and with IU Medical Group/Wishard Health Services, where she provided individual counseling, marriage and family therapy, grief support, and other services.

Jennifer and her husband, Erik, have been married for 17 years and reside in Plainfield with their two sons, and are active members of Plainfield United Methodist Church.
