Leah Strong is a counseling intern at Care to Change who is passionate about helping children, families, and women experience hope in the midst of life’s challenges. She is currently pursuing her training to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Art Therapist, integrating creativity and evidence-based approaches to support healing and growth.

Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Studio Art, with a minor in Counseling Psychology, from Ball State University. She also has experience providing ABA therapy and became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in 2025. Leah is especially drawn to walking alongside families in seasons of hardship, offering encouragement, compassion, and practical tools for change.

She was drawn to Care to Change by its mission to combine clinical excellence with Biblical truth, and she feels grateful to be part of a team that seeks to bring hope and healing to every person.
Outside of the counseling room, Leah enjoys baking, cooking, painting, and spending time with her cat, Tater Tot. She values meaningful connection with loved ones and is actively involved in her church community, where she participates in a life group and serves in kids’ ministry.
