Counseling is always challenging work, and Kyle’s path has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to help people who are struggling with particularly dark spaces. From addictions, to pornography, to domestic violence, to anger issues, to couples at the breaking point, Kyle knows God is ready and prepared to aid in healing, regardless of the degree of pain or dysfunction. He chooses to practice at Care to Change because our mission aligns with the process of helping individuals understand themselves so they’re better able at putting God in charge.
After earning his undergraduate degree at Harding University, Kyle obtained graduate degrees in multiple areas of psychology from Adler University and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. His professional journey has included specialized training in treating domestic abusers and sex offenders, as well as common issues such as anxiety and depression.
When he isn’t guiding people though life’s dark spaces, he recharges his batteries and sense of humor through time with his family and friends. You’ll also find Kyle and his wife exploring nature or catching up on the latest movies. The couple are members at Trader’s Point Church of Christ, where Kyle teaches Bible class and participates in worship. He’s also the assistant junior high basketball coach for Our Shepard Lutheran School.
