From an early age, Grace discovered the joy that comes from serving those around us. She has always wanted people to know they are loved and cared for – both by her and by the Lord. Grace’s fascination with helping others and a desire to better understand their challenges fueled her interest in studying psychology. As she learned more about the brain and the role it plays in managing human behavior, her passion for helping others through crises only grew.
Grace sees working with the Care to Change team as a way to immediately apply and augment what she’s learning in her classes as she gets closer to earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Collaborating with our client care team expands her understanding of how the concepts and clinical strategies she’s learning from professors inform the care our professional counselors provide. She appreciates Care to Change’s mission and its foundation in Biblical values, especially its emphasis on serving God by helping His children.
When Grace isn’t racing to finish her assigned reading and projects for her next class, you’ll find her kicking back with some casual reading while savoring her favorite music. You’re also likely to see her finding and exploring new coffee shops with her friends – and worshiping at Whitestown’s New Hope Christian Church with her family.
