For more than a decade, Brittany has helped young children and teens who have faced challenges in their young lives find the guidance and support they need to grow into healthy adults. She brings experience from a variety of settings to Care to Change, including three years of working closely with children and families at a domestic violence shelter.

Brittany received a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Indiana State University in 2015 and went on to earn a Master’s in Social Work from the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in 2016. She is also a certified Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner and Educator who has been involved in training about trauma, anxiety, creating trauma-informed classrooms, and helping children overcome the inherent challenges of their families of origin. Brittany is trained in using the Enneagram.

Adoption is particularly important to Brittany, who has provided care to orphans in China. She has also worked with adoptive families, providing support both before and after their adoptions.

Most recently, she has provided therapy and social skills support in a school setting to elementary-age students, enhancing their opportunities for success in the classroom and helping them build healthy and positive relationships with their peers. She has also actively supported children of all ages in youth ministry, including working with those who have special needs. She mentors high school girls at Cornerstone Christian Church, helps with the church’s youth praise band, and serves on the worship team. Brittany also serves on Get Real Inc’s Board of Directors.
