Self-Worth is the foundation of who we are as human beings and in today’s world is highly sought after. It plays a role in every decision we make and in every relationship we have. This six week program is designed for anybody who desires the freedom that comes with living in positive self-worth and secure attachment.
There are many reasons why somebody may sign up for a class on self-worth and your reason is unique to you. There will be some similarities with your group members but
your motivation and desire for something different is a reflection of your individuality. You are prepackaged with a unique set of gifts, talents and desires that are unique to you. It is our hope that through this time together you learn the tools to make the changes you are longing for. It won’t be easy, but it will be so worth it!
In this program, we are going to learn why these negative messages should not belong to us. We may have absorbed them, but they are not ours. They belong to the person, or persons, sending the negative messages. Their reality of how they treat you is a reflection of a lie, or lies, grounded in their own history. As we learn the truth about who we are, we are going to slowly unsubscribe from other people’s realities and re-subscribe to our own truth reality, one that defines our amazing worth. We are going to identify the lies we believe and replace them with truth. We are also going to take a close look at your whole life and the events you have experienced that contributed to low self-worth. The goal of this program is help you achieve complete healing so you can live everyday with positive self-worth.
The Making Sense of Your Worth Curriculum follows a step-by-step process of gaining positive self-worth. It was created by Cindy R. Lee, LCSW in partnership with HALO Project International and participants in the program show an increase in positive self-worth upon completion.
